One day the chased
A lost bird:
The other day they followed
A rainbow:
Far away over those hills, Beyond those
Giant mountains,
Into the valley of wild multi-Coloured
Flowers of sanity.
Yesterday, They announced their
Return to the media
Posed for snapshots tired
They looked, Ok they were
But
Glimpse to seek their presence
Attracted young and old alike
On the TV and at the scene shouted
One old grey - haired lady
From the very end of the crowd
"Did you bring that bird of sanity?
Give it to me..... at least show it
To me -- Once, only once
They looked at each other
Smiled a half smile
Brought out of their bag
The lost bird, But dead...
Bowed their heads in despair
And their eyes dropped tears on the ground!
